Job summary

Tory Burch LLC is seeking a hands-on engineering manager for Retail Applications to own store tech delivery from POS to clienteling and reporting. You’ll lead vendor squads, partner with Store Ops, and drive reliable software across omnichannel storefronts.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in one modern programming language such as Java or JavaScript (or equivalent).
• Experience with distributed systems and microservices powering store and edge scenarios.
• Hands-on experience managing POS systems and clienteling apps (device provisioning, release management, integrations to ERP/CRM).
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and messaging/event streaming patterns for store-to-cloud sync.
• Familiarity with payments (terminal management, gateway integrations) and modern clienteling platforms.
• Experience adopting AI-assisted development tools across the team to accelerate delivery with quality.
• Leadership: clear communication, role clarity, and cross-functional program execution.

Responsibilities

• Own store technology delivery & operations; lead feature development and on-call for POS, clienteling, store reporting, and payments.
• Launch & scale new stores; coordinate POS devices, payment terminals, and clienteling devices for openings.
• Integrate payments & clienteling with ERP/CRM systems; ensure secure integrations and testing.
• Enable omnichannel store experiences; support BOPIS, ship-from-store, and remote selling; track SLAs.
• Maintain dashboards; manage latency, error budgets, and uptime; align releases with holiday peaks.
