Job summary

L2x Talent Solutions seeks an experienced Manufacturing New Product Launch leader to drive launches, process changes, and capital budgeting for new parts. You will oversee work instructions, ERP routings, and quality plans in collaboration with Engineering and Quality teams, mentoring engineers and technicians.

You will lead lean initiatives, conduct time studies, and manage multiple projects and priorities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of manufacturing engineering experience with supervisory roles.
• Strong knowledge of part print specifications and requirements.
• Experience with machining processes (milling, turning).
• Lean manufacturing principles and structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Labor analysis, time study and workplace study experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the New Project Launch Engineering department to meet customer demand and profit goals.
• Oversee preparation and implementation of product launches, specification changes, and process changes.
• Define and recommend capital equipment purchases and prepare budgets and payback analyses.
• Prepare and manage implementation plans for new part projects.
• Review and create manufacturing work instructions and ERP routings.
• Conduct time studies to improve productivity and efficiency.
• Define quality plans with Engineering and Quality teams.
• Provide training and mentorship to engineers and technicians.
• Drive lean initiatives and continuous improvement across operations.
