Job summary

Purem in Spartanburg, SC, seeks a Production Lead to support day-to-day operations, focusing on safety, quality, downtime, and ergonomic improvements. You will manage new product launches, fixture design, line mapping, process layouts, equipment installation, and lean manufacturing implementations.

Responsibilities include approving capital investments, tooling, process changes, and maintaining preventative maintenance scheduling, PMs, and MRO inventory to sustain efficient production.

Qualifications

• Submit annual capital investments for plant.
• Approve and sign off all equipment and tooling for the facility.
• Approve any process related procedures or improvements on production line.
• Authority to stop production lines if there are quality or durability related risks.
• New product implementation and capacity studies.
• Preventative maintenance scheduling for equipment, plant and tooling.
• Production Support and OEE.
• Maintenance, PM's and MRO inventory.

Responsibilities

• The position ensures safety, downtime, quality, OEE and ergonomic issues are managed daily.
• Lead production support activities and drive lean manufacturing implementations.
• Coordinate new product launches, fixture design and line mapping.
• Approve capital investments and tooling for the plant.
• Maintain PM schedules and manage MRO inventory.
