Job summary

L2x Talent Solutions is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to lead manufacturing and capital improvement projects from concept through closure. You will develop detailed plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments while coordinating with production and operations teams to ensure efficiency and minimal downtime.

You'll manage equipment installations, line expansions, and facility upgrades, create and maintain engineering documentation and SOPs, and drive continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing/Industrial/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of engineering experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven experience leading engineering, process improvement, or capital equipment projects.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production equipment, and tooling systems.
• Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication across departments.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing and capital improvement projects from concept to closure.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
• Manage equipment installations, line expansions, facility upgrades, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maintain efficiency.
• Create and update engineering documentation and SOPs.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement for safety, quality, efficiency, and cost.
• Coordinate with Quality and Operations to ensure safety, regulatory, and quality compliance.
• Coordinate activities with vendors, contractors, and equipment suppliers.
• Monitor project performance and report progress, risks, budgets, and outcomes.
• Support automation and process optimization to improve plant performance.
• Participate in root cause investigations and develop corrective actions.
