Samsung Electronics America seeks an experienced engineering manager to lead Samsung Wallet mobile app development. The role will be based in New York, collaborating with teams in Korea and globally to deliver native mobile experiences on aggressive timelines.

You will drive cross-functional initiatives, guide architecture decisions, and ensure delivery while partnering with product and business teams to open new opportunities and partnerships.

Qualifications

10+ years in hands-on engineering management.
Expert in native Android mobile app development.
Experience with large-scale mobile-first applications; fintech/payments preferred.
Strong leadership and coaching skills.

Responsibilities

Lead development and delivery of Samsung Wallet solutions.
Drive MAU growth and market expansion through cross-functional and remote teams, with a focus on native mobile app development.
Define and execute a visionary technical strategy and multi-year roadmap.
Collaborate with product, program management, and business teams to release features on aggressive timelines.
Act as the technical liaison for Samsung Wallet partners and translate needs to remote teams.
