Senior Manager, Business Development – Samsung Wallet

Samsung Wallet is a mobile payment service and digital wallet developed by Samsung. It is designed to be a one-stop shop for all debit cards, credit cards, digital passes, and tickets, making them easy to access and use when necessary. With the rise of NFC payment terminals in stores and evolving consumer preferences over the past year, Samsung Wallet has never been more important. Working on the Samsung Wallet team will give you a chance to significantly impact the lives of millions worldwide. It will be invaluable to the future of digital wallets. You’ll be able to collaborate with and learn from experts across various fields and work on exciting, challenging projects. We are looking for a Senior Manager of Business Development responsible for driving the vision, strategy, and execution of Samsung Wallet. This role will lead the development of payment partnerships (issuers, payment, fintech, stable coin, BNPL, etc.)—that increases customer engagement, retention, and monetization of Samsung Wallet. The ideal candidate is self‑motivated, analytical, data‑driven, and solutions‑focused with the ability to unravel complexity, navigate the organization, and quickly develop a deep understanding of the business. The position requires excellent communication and presentation skills, as well as the ability to drive close collaboration across all areas of the business. The Senior Manager of Business Development must be a self‑starter and comfortable working under tight timeframes in a fast‑paced environment.

Required Qualifications
  • BA/BS required in Business, Computer Science, or a related field
  • At least five years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or equivalent experience
  • Experience within mobile apps, membership, fintech, or digital wallet industries
  • Experience managing partnerships and contractual agreements
  • Strong analytical and presentation skills
  • Excellent cross‑functional leadership and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with payment players such as digital wallets, issuers, networks, fintechs, etc.
  • Experience working with partners to drive partner success and comfortable driving partner initiatives across product, legal, finance and other internal stakeholders
  • Ability to negotiate and structure commercial and product integration agreements, understand agreements, and work with legal
  • Familiarity with Samsung ecosystem products and mobile OS design paradigms
  • Experience working within global across organization and navigating cultural ways of working

The salary range for this role is expected to be between $175,000 and $215,000, plus a bonus. Actual pay will be determined considering factors such as relevant skills and experience, and comparison to other employees in the role.
