Job summary

Huckleberry is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our core mobile products used by millions of families. You will bridge business goals with technical execution, guiding a high-performing team including offshore engineers to deliver reliable features at scale.

You will own infrastructure health, drive strategic roadmap, reduce technical debt, and lead AI-driven development lifecycles to boost velocity and code quality, while partnering with Product Managers for exceptional execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years in people management.
• Led engineering teams that scaled B2C products beyond 10 million users.
• Experience managing onshore and offshore teams and building engineering culture of excellence.
• Deep expertise in mobile ecosystems (iOS/Android) and scalable infrastructure.
• Proven track record embedding AI in the SDLC to improve velocity and reliability.
• Exceptional communication for stakeholders and distributed teams.
• Collaborates closely with Product Managers to translate business goals into technical milestones and roadmaps.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical health of core mobile products and ensure high performance for 10M+ users.
• Translate business goals into technical milestones and deliver high-quality features on schedule.
• Develop and execute a comprehensive bug management strategy to reduce technical debt.
• Lead AI-driven improvements across development lifecycle, testing, and build times.
• Mentor and manage a global engineering team, including offshore staff.
• Design engineering workflows that balance speed with stability.
