Job summary

Accor's Fairmont Dallas property seeks an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering team and direct programs that keep our luxury hotel running safely and efficiently. You will set standards, supervise maintenance teams, and drive improvements across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and life-safety systems.

Strong leadership and compliance with codes are required. You will collaborate with departments, manage budgets, and coordinate with contractors to meet guest expectations and regulatory

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years in a similar position at a 300+ room hotel.
• Team player with proven leadership abilities.
• Professional Engineer Designation is an asset.
• Knowledgeable in municipal and state codes, OSHA requirements.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and delegate effectively to achieve hotel engineering goals.
• Oversee maintenance of all hotel systems and equipment per Accor standards.
• Ensure Fire & Life Safety, energy management, and environmental programs are followed.
• Coordinate with departments and external contractors for maintenance projects.
• Manage preventive maintenance programs across guest rooms, public areas, and facilities.
• Respond to emergencies and manage on-call duties as needed.
