Job summary

Bowie House LLC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead our facility's technical operations and drive operational excellence across maintenance and infrastructure. You will set strategic goals, manage projects, and guide a team to ensure reliable, safe, and efficient facilities.

Responsibilities include overseeing building systems, budgeting, and coordinating with departments on energy upgrades and compliance, while upholding safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years operating experience in hotel engineering or closely related industry.
• Certified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• Strong understanding of plumbing, HVAC, electric, spa and pool utilities, and carpentry.
• Experience maintaining state and federal health and safety regulations.
• Experience with budgeting, reporting, and project management.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership to the engineering team, setting technical goals and ensuring successful project execution.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of building systems, equipment, and facilities to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance.
• Develop and manage the engineering department budget, control costs, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Collaborate with other departments to implement strategic facility improvements, energy efficiency, and technological upgrades.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards; oversee inspections and audits.
