Job summary

LSI Industries Inc. in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking an on-site Engineering Manager - Lighting Controls to lead the Lighting Controls Applications and Technical Support team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related discipline
• Minimum 5 years of experience in lighting controls, building automation, electrical systems, or related industry
• Minimum 2 years of leadership, supervisory, or project management experience
• Demonstrated experience designing, deploying, commissioning, and troubleshooting commercial lighting control systems
• Strong understanding of Bluetooth Mesh and WiFi networks
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
• Ability to travel as required

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Applications Engineers, Technical Support Engineers, and Commissioning Specialists
• Oversee lighting controls designs for commercial indoor and outdoor projects
• Review and approve controls take-offs, layouts, wiring diagrams, and sequence-of-operation documentation
• Monitor and manage the pipeline of current and upcoming projects and sales opportunities
• Act as primary project manager for controls-related projects
• Oversee in-house and field commissioning activities and support troubleshooting
• Serve as subject matter expert on lighting controls and wireless technologies
• Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering on product improvements
