Job summary

Lonestar Electric Supply is seeking an Applications Engineer- Design to join a growing design team. You will design and budget code-compliant lighting and control systems, coordinate with contractors, developers, and owners, and deliver project submittals and quotes.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, CAD software experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish. This on-site role offers opportunities to shape a new design group and grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer-facing skills required.
• Ability to design, takeoff, and prepare project deliverables and submittals.

Responsibilities

• Work with Sales to understand project goals and requirements.
• Plan, design, and budget code-compliant lighting and control systems.
• Prepare quotes and project submittals.
• Deliver design submittals to client timely.
• Coordinate multiple projects and client accounts.
• Troubleshoot lighting control systems and field visits.
