Job summary

McCord Group Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Commercial Lighting Controls Manager to lead design, specification, quotation, and execution of commercial lighting control systems. This role serves as the primary controls resource for customers, electrical contractors, distributors, engineers, architects, manufacturers, and the sales team.

The ideal candidate shows strong technical knowledge of lighting control systems, translates project requirements into code-compliant solutions, and supports

Qualifications

Three+ years in commercial lighting controls or related field.
Strong knowledge of control products, applications, and installation practices.
Experience reviewing drawings, specifications, and control sequences.
Willingness to travel locally to job sites and meetings.

Responsibilities

Design and specify commercial lighting control systems from drawings and codes.
Prepare BOMs, quotations, and sequence-of-operation documents.
Provide technical and sales support to contractors, engineers, architects.
Coordinate submittals, approvals, schedules, startup, and commissioning.
Identify opportunities to increase controls sales and expand presence.
