Job summary

SESC0 Lighting, Inc. seeks a Lead Controls Solutions Specialist to serve as the top technical authority for lighting control systems. The role leads complex projects, provides cross‑functional leadership, and offers field support and commissioning assistance as required.

Responsibilities include guiding design strategy, reviewing designs and quotations, and mentoring other specialists. Travel to job sites is required, with a valid driver’s license and auto insurance maintained.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical Technology, or related field preferred.
• 7+ years of experience in lighting controls or building systems.
• Expert-level knowledge of lighting controls, system integration, and energy codes.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
• Strong communication, project management, and decision‑making skills.
• Advanced technical proficiency with controls platforms and documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical expert for lighting control systems and applications.
• Lead design strategy and execution for large, complex, or high-profile projects.
• Provide guidance and oversight to all Controls Solutions Specialists.
• Collaborate with sales leadership on project strategy and opportunity development.
• Review and approve complex system designs, quotations, and documentation.
• Act as escalation point for advanced technical and project issues.
• Lead coordination with manufacturers and key partners.
• Provide on-site field support, commissioning assistance, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Develop and deliver advanced training programs for internal and external stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement in controls processes, standards, and tools.
