Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. in New Hartford, NY seeks an experienced Manufacturing Engineering leader to drive improvements aligning operations with business goals. You will guide PFMEA and SPC projects, champion Kaizen events, and develop visual management systems across the shop floor.

Ideal candidates hold a BSME or IE with Lean, Six Sigma knowledge, and strong collaboration skills to work with Maintenance and other teams. Relocation is authorized.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in process manufacturing environments.
• Lean manufacturing skills including Theory of Constraints, Six Sigma, and value stream mapping.
• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (BSME or IE) or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership to optimize tools, methods and resources to improve productivity.
• Drive PFMEA implementation and control plans, including SPC across the shop.
• Facilitate Kaizen events to identify and prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Develop visual management systems including standard work, 5S, quality and throughput.
• Participate in equipment selection and CapEx planning for major overhauls, supervising projects.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to ensure productive and safe operation.
