Job summary

KAYAK, part of Booking Holdings, is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead one or more agile teams at our Berlin hub. You will deliver software that powers travel experiences for travelers and businesses, while shaping team culture and engineering practices.

You will drive technical roadmaps, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product, design, and other leaders to deliver complex initiatives across multiple teams. If you thrive in a fast-paced, data-driven environment, join us in Berlin.

Qualifications

8+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years in engineering leadership.
Experience leading teams focused on supplier integrations or large-scale content integrations.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end delivery for one or more engineering teams and ensure shipping of high-quality software.
Define and drive the technical roadmap aligned with product and business goals.
Lead hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and career development for engineers.
Coach engineers across levels and develop technical leads.
Collaborate with product, design, and other engineering managers to plan multi-team initiatives.
Identify and remove delivery risks and drive process improvements.
