Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a highly experienced engineering professional to join the Operations team. The role involves delivering complex engineering solutions across multi‑discipline projects, applying quality standards, and mentoring staff.

The candidate will coordinate with internal and external teams, ensuring schedules and budgets align with client objectives. The position emphasizes leadership in design guidance, risk management, and process improvement, with a strong focus on delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Familiarity with LNG, Oil & Gas, Fertilizer, Petrochemical and/or Sustainable Process industries.
• Provides guidance on department design guides, standards, systems, and policies; may own or develop engineering standards.
• Ensures compliance with BV quality program; supports continuous improvement and risk management.
• Prepares complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projects and manages data for engineering work.
• Develops advanced engineering solutions and delegates tasks to depth staff within project plans.
• Coordinates with internal and external team members on complex projects; defines project schedules for single or multiple disciplines.
• Identifies client interests and drivers and incorporates them into project execution.
