Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking an experienced senior engineer to lead technically complex projects and supervise multidisciplinary teams. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality engineering deliverables, guiding standards and codes, and collaborating across departments to ensure successful execution.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, active licensure, and at least 11 years of related experience. A hybrid work arrangement and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements.
• Minimum of 11 years of related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements, including background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical guidance on department design guides, standards, systems, and applicable engineering codes and policies.
• Prepares complex engineering deliverables for multiple or mega projects and oversees data management for engineering work.
• Develops and applies advanced engineering solutions; manages budgets, schedules, and quality requirements.
• Coordinates with internal and external teams on complex projects and defines project schedules for single or multiple disciplines.
• Mentors lower‑level and mid‑level professionals and supports career development.
