Job summary

Procter & Gamble seeks an Engineering Manager to lead advanced manufacturing and product development initiatives in the US. You will guide cross‑functional teams across ICA, APS, MPD, packaging, instrumentation, robotics, and environmental engineering to deliver innovative solutions.

From day one you will own critical projects, mentor engineers, and drive adoption of digital technologies while upholding HS&E and quality standards. Willingness to relocate and travel up to 25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related discipline (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Chemical, Materials Science, Packaging Science, Environmental, Civil).
• Experience: 0-5 years of relevant work experience (internships, co-ops, research experience, academic count!).
• Technical Curiosity & Acumen: Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to identify root causes, develop comprehensive technical solutions, and interpret data to drive decisions.
• Project Mindset: A strong desire and demonstrated capability to lead projects, manage timelines/budgets, and drive results in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Demonstrated leadership potential and experience, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Agility & Drive: Ability to quickly embrace and adapt to changes in project scope, schedule and cost.
• Mobility: Willingness to relocate throughout your career. Relocation support available.
• Travel: Ability to travel 10-25% as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Intelligent Controls & Automation (ICA): Lead design, development, and implementation of complex control systems, robotics, Industry 4.0 technologies, and AI/ML solutions.
• Mechanical Design & Development (APS): Lead all phases of mechanical process/equipment development and prototyping.
• Manufacturing Process Development (MPD): Translate R&D innovations into scalable manufacturing processes.
• Converting & Packing Engineering: Lead invention and refinement of material conversion and high‑speed packaging technologies.
• Instrumentation & Metrology: Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of precision instrumentation and metrology systems.
• Robotics Engineering: Lead conceptualization, development, and integration of cutting‑edge robotic solutions.
• Environmental & Civil Engineering: Lead sustainable engineering solutions and manage site infrastructure projects.
• Technical Leadership: Build long‑term technical capability, lead adoption of advanced digital solutions.
