CoreWeave is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team building and operating Kubernetes infrastructure on bare metal. The role focuses on reliability, scalability, and operational excellence for AI workloads. You will mentor engineers and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver durable engineering systems.

You will drive roadmap execution, incident response, and platform enhancements while growing the team and shaping best practices for production readiness.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing an infrastructure/platform/SRE team.
• Depth in Kubernetes, distributed systems, production infra.
• Experience operating Kubernetes in complex or bare-metal environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers responsible for Kubernetes infra on bare metal.
• Set goals, priorities, and execution plans with reliable delivery.
• Collaborate with platform, networking, compute, and product teams on roadmap and reliability.
• Improve incident response, on-call health, and RCAs; drive reliability improvements.
• Establish best practices for change management, testing, and production readiness.
• Mentor and develop engineers; support hiring and cross-functional collaboration.
• Translate complex platform work into clear business and customer value.
