Adyen in Chicago seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a new Issuing product team. You will own the roadmap, hire and mentor engineers, and partner across product, engineering, and business units to deliver a scalable, API-based banking service.

This role requires deep fintech domain experience, strong technical depth in Java, Postgres, Kafka, and related tech, and a proven ability to balance strategic design with hands-on execution in a fast-moving environment.

Formación

• Experience leading engineering teams and delivering fintech products.
• Strong domain knowledge in FinTech, issuing and banking is a plus.
• Ability to set technical direction and influence product decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a new engineering team from ground up and hire where needed.
• Own the technical roadmap for the issuing program construct.
• Collaborate with product, commercial, and operations to shape the product vision.
• Coach engineers and manage performance to maintain rapid, high-quality delivery.
• Balance strategic design with hands-on execution and debt management.
• Engage with clients and partners for technical decisions when needed.
