Job summary

Amcor is seeking an Engineering Manager at our Injection Molding plant to lead a diverse engineering team, drive safety culture, and improve production efficiency with data-driven decisions. You will oversee project implementation, coordinate contractors, and guide cross-functional collaboration to deliver cost-effective manufacturing improvements while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in Industrial Maintenance/Engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Detail oriented with root cause troubleshooting skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with leadership ability.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
• Must have good attendance and safety habits.

Responsibilities

• Instill a positive safety culture and ensure personal and team safety.
• Lead and develop Engineering Team with guidance and development for Engineers.
• Collaborate with manufacturing managers to set priorities across teams.
• Assess cost effectiveness and implement safety, efficiency, and cost improvements.
• Oversee plant renovations and coordinate outside contractors and vendors.
• Support other teams and leadership with programs and responsibilities.
• Track cost savings and efficiency improvements of projects.
• Prepare and implement the capital budget.
• Perform annual performance evaluations of employees.
• Respond to customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain safety, environmental and health requirements.
