Job summary

GPAC is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of six engineers in a Midwest manufacturing setting. You will provide technical and people leadership to ensure engineering excellence, standardization, and reliable project execution across multiple lines of industrial equipment.

Collaborating with product, operations, and executive leadership, you will define roadmaps, establish best practices, manage risks, and drive improvements that improve quality, delivery, and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or industrial manufacturing field
• 5+ years of engineering management experience
• Proven track record leading engineering teams on complex projects
• Strong knowledge of industrial HVAC, heaters, chillers, pumps, and PDU
• SolidWorks proficiency for equipment and frame design

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6 engineers
• Oversee planning, execution and delivery of projects on time and to spec
• Partner with product, operations, and executives to define roadmaps and priorities
• Establish and maintain engineering best practices and documentation
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, risks, and gaps in resources
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reliability
• Stay current on industry trends relevant to industrial equipment services
• Report to the Chief Operating Officer
• Support multiple industries across the Midwest and beyond
