Job summary

Sierra Nevada Company, LLC seeks an Engineering Manager II to lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team in an agile environment. You will drive project planning, risk assessment, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver compliant, high-quality solutions.

Requirements include a BS in a related field, 8+ years engineering with 4+ years in management, and experience with CAE tools. U.S. security clearance and travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required.
• 8+ years progressive engineering experience including 4+ years in management.
• Experience with CAE tools, analysis and simulation.
• Ability to work in multi-disciplinary design and development teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a multi-disciplinary engineering team to achieve project milestones.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of engineering products.
• Monitor and control project costs to stay within budget.
• Drive development and implementation of technical solutions to complex engineering challenges.
• Ensure all engineering activities comply with applicable standards and regulations.
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.
• Present project updates and technical data to senior management and stakeholders.
