Job summary

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems in Roy, UT is seeking an Engineering Manager 2 for the SDS Launch Systems Support Equipment team. This leadership role combines functional management with program responsibilities to support ICBM hardware development and integration.

You will lead engineers, coordinate with suppliers and other NG IPTs, participate in design reviews, and ensure requirements are met while maintaining EVMS compliance. A DoD Secret clearance and a STEM degree are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM disciplines from an accredited university.
• 8+ years of related experience with a STEM degree; or 6+ years with a Master’s.
• US citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance (recent within 6 years).
• Experience with Support Equipment hardware development for aircraft/aerospace programs.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• 1+ year of leadership experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead functional management activities and program responsibilities.
• Mentor direct reports and manage performance reviews.
• Oversee design reviews and development of mechanical, electro-mechanical, and software products.
• Coordinate with suppliers and NG IPTs to ensure requirements are met.
• EVMS reporting and compliance.
