Job summary

ModMed is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead a high-performing team responsible for the Identity & Access Management platform, including central authentication, SSO, and automation. You will balance technical leadership with people management and ensure high-quality software delivery.

You will collaborate with Security, Compliance, and Product leadership while encouraging AI-driven tooling and modern testing practices to meet strict SLA requirements and security

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering management experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong background in OO language design and backend systems (Java or C# a plus).
• Deep understanding of modern software testing and CI/CD workflows.
• Willingness to engage in acceptance testing and ensure release quality.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and prioritization skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow a team of engineers; foster technical excellence and psychological safety.
• Own product quality; understand identity services and Keycloak extensions; assist with UAT.
• Participate in design reviews; guide scalable, resilient architectures.
