Job summary

Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics seeks an experienced Manager Engineering to lead a multidisciplina ry team on complex programs. You will drive budgets, schedules and design-for-manufacture decisions while coordinating with customers and internal stakeholders.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD security clearance. Hybrid work arrangement is offered with a strong focus on program execution and leadership excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 7+ years of experience.
• Experience leading engineers on project teams across disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers on complex projects to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Manage budget, cost and schedule input for design assignments.
• Drive design-to-cost and design-for-manufacture considerations.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and customers as required.
• Prepare proposals and direct work of others as assigned.
• Attend engineering, customer or business meetings as needed.
