Qualifications

• ABET-accredited bachelor’s degree or higher in an engineering discipline.
• Minimum 15 years of related engineering experience.
• Minimum 10 years of operations management or engineering leadership experience.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Strong technical background in Heavy Civil or Mining Construction.
• Equipment design and manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proven track record of leading high-performing engineering teams.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team of professionals and oversee design across three divisions: Heavy Civil Tunneling, Mine Development, and OEM Equipment Manufacturing/FKC-Lake Shore.
• Manage and maintain project engineering schedules and budgets.
• Serve as the technical liaison with Division Managers, clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Direct and coordinate engineering, operational, and quality initiatives to improve cost, delivery, and performance.
• Ensure all designs meet commercial, customer, regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
• Lead discipline managers in Civil/Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical engineering.
• Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
