Job summary

Frontier-Kemper, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking an Engineering Manager for our Evansville, Indiana home office. Lead a multi-disciplinary team and oversee all engineering and design functions across Heavy Civil Tunneling, Mine Development, and OEM Equipment Manufacturing.

You will manage schedules and budgets, coordinate with clients and regulators, and drive initiatives to improve cost, delivery, and quality while upholding safety and engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Minimum of 15 years of related engineering experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of operations management and/or engineering leadership experience.
• P.E. license preferred.
• Strong technical background in Heavy Civil or Mining Construction.
• Equipment design and manufacturing experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team of 10+ professionals in Evansville.
• Oversee engineering and design across Heavy Civil Tunneling, Mine Development, and OEM Equipment Manufacturing/FKC-Lake Shore.
• Manage and maintain project engineering schedules and budgets.
• Serve as the technical liaison with Division Managers, clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies.
• Direct and coordinate engineering, operational, and quality initiatives to improve cost, delivery, and performance.
• Ensure that all designs meet commercial, customer, regulatory, safety, and quality standards.
