Job summary

Frontier-Kemper-Lake Shore Division in Evansville, IN is seeking a Mechanical Project Manager to lead planning, coordination, and execution of mechanical projects to meet budgets, schedules and quality standards.

You will work with mechanical/electrical designers, contractors and project managers, conduct site assessments, manage scopes, schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with safety regulations across projects, including hoisting-related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of proven experience in mechanical project management.
• 3+ years of experience with mechanical hoisting equipment design and operation.
• Proficiency in CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software.
• Proficiency in project management software and mechanical design tools.

Responsibilities

• Managing mechanical projects from conceptualization to completion, ensuring adherence to design specs and timelines.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams including mechanical/electrical designers, contractors and project managers.
• Conducting site assessments to determine feasibility, gather technical requirements and foster client relationships.
• Overseeing installation, testing, and commissioning of proprietary system designs with safety compliance.
• Developing project scopes, schedules, resources and budgets for hoist-related projects.
• Coordinating with customers, contractors, suppliers and regulatory authorities.
