Danfoss is seeking an Engineering Manager in Ohio to lead the hydraulic quick disconnect couplings team, directing technical direction and product development from concept through launch. You will empower engineers, drive reliability, manufacturability, and global collaboration to deliver scalable solutions.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication, and willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Proven experience leading technical teams and people management.
• Experience with hydraulic quick disconnect couplings is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of NPD, design validation, and DFM/DFA.
• Excellent communication and ability to align with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team.
• Guide full product lifecycle for QDC portfolio from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, and Sales.
• Drive design optimization and continuous improvement.
• Promote DFM/DFA across global production.
