Job summary

Danfoss GmbH is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the hydraulic quick disconnect couplings initiative. You will direct the engineering team, shape the product lifecycle from concept through launch, and collaborate with Product Management, Operations, and Sales across global partners.

You’ll drive continuous improvement, promote DFM/DFA, and travel internationally up to 20% to support global programs. A Mechanical Engineering degree and proven leadership are required.

Qualifications

• A degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Extensive engineering experience with leadership of technical teams.
• Collaborative leadership style and inclusive culture.
• Experience with hydraulic quick disconnect couplings is a strong plus.
• Background in New Product Development, design validation, and DFM/ DFA.
• Excellent communication and ability to align with global teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop the engineering team, fostering an inclusive environment.
• Guide the entire product lifecycle for the QDC portfolio from concept to launch.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Operations, and Sales to translate needs into solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement and design optimization across projects.
• Promote DFM/DFA principles for scalable, reliable production.
