Job summary

Siemens Energy in Charlotte seeks a Head of Technical Services and Quality to lead a multidisciplinary team responsible for manufacturing process development, quality management, continuous improvement, and engineering support for Generator Operations.

You will drive new product introductions, service repair solutions, capital projects, and best-practice deployments while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer satisfaction. Partner with global sites to share innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Business or related discipline.
• 3+ years in manufacturing ops, engineering, quality management, or continuous improvement.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and implementing process improvements.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, RCA, FMEA, 8D, risk management, and quality systems.
• Experience with capital investment proposals, cost analyses, ROI, and production planning; SAP familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Services and Quality organization across Generator Operations.
• Drive manufacturing development, quality excellence, continuous improvement, and operational support.
• Oversee new processes, tooling, capital projects, and technology deployments.
• Develop feasibility studies, ROI analyses, and business cases for strategic investments.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, audits, non-conformance, and regulatory requirements.
