Job summary

Zocdoc is seeking an Engineering Manager for the Frontend Platform & Mobile team to lead the design system and accessible React component library that underpins all products. You will partner with UX, Product, and Engineering to accelerate frontend work, drive adoption, and raise accessibility to a formal standard.

You will mentor engineers across web and mobile, define technical strategy for scalable component libraries, and explore GenAI-powered workflows to boost velocity and quality.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience building and shipping frontend infrastructure as a product.
• Experience shipping design systems and shared components across web and mobile products.
• 5+ years in software development with frontend focus (React/TS/JS) and mobile exposure.

Responsibilities

• Lead, grow, and mentor a high-performing frontend team focused on design systems and component libraries.
• Own strategy and roadmap for Zocdoc's design system and accessible React library across web and mobile.
• Drive accessibility and platform tooling improvements to speed frontend and mobile delivery.
• Collaborate with UX, Product, and Engineering to set technical direction and priority.
• Incorporate GenAI tools to accelerate development and improve workflows.
