Job summary

E-ONE, a Terex Corporation company, seeks an Engineering Manager to lead engineers, designers, and technicians to meet engineering, production, and business goals at our Ocala, FL site. You will steer technical leadership, resource planning, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver compliant, cost-efficient designs.

Responsibilities include design reviews, BOM approvals, Lean initiatives, and continuous improvement while upholding safety and quality across programs.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or MS in Engineering Management preferred.
• 7+ years of technical experience, incl. 4+ years in supervision or lead engineering.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Creo/ProE or other design software.
• Ability to lead production support initiatives.
• Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement understanding.
• Excellent organizational, supervisory and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities of engineers, designers, and technicians to meet department goals.
• Create and approve design engineering work packages meeting customer, regulatory and cost requirements.
• Review and approve designs, BOMs, and engineering docs before release to manufacturing.
• Lead Lean initiatives and support continuous improvement across departments.
• Plan resources to meet engineering schedule commitments and provide technical input for complex activities.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Evaluate staff performance and identify development needs and training.
• Ensure compliance with standards and company policies and procedures.
