Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a team of designers and CAD Operators responsible for engineering standards, system design, and code compliance. The manager will drive efficiency, evaluate processes, and implement improvements while coordinating with sales, project managers, and design staff.

The ideal candidate has NICET Level III certification, 2–5 years of leadership in fire alarm design, and a strong working knowledge of NFPA 72.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience leading design and CAD Operator teams in the fire alarm and life-safety industry.
• Experience applying NFPA 72 design and installation standards.
• NICET Level III certification and strong knowledge of fire protection codes.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of designers and CAD Operators, providing supervision and mentoring.
• Review designs for quality, code compliance, and timeliness.
• Manage project backlog and coordinate with sales/project managers.
