Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years hands-on database or data engineering experience.
• 2+ years leading technical teams delivering client-facing systems or production database solutions.
• Experience designing scalable architectures across Server, Client, WebDirect, APIs, and cloud or on-prem deployments.
• Experience delivering complex systems on schedule while maintaining quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers to design, deliver, and operate robust data platforms for client use cases.
• Architect solutions across FileMaker Server, Client, WebDirect, APIs, and cloud/on-prem deployments.
• Review designs and code to ensure correctness and operability.
• Manage dependencies, risks, and tradeoffs to meet deadlines.
• Drive performance tuning, monitoring, and optimization for production environments.
• Enforce security best practices, compliance, and disaster recovery standards.
• Coach engineers to focus on client impact and drive execution excellence.
