Job summary
Tyler Technologies in Plano, TX is seeking an experienced Software Engineering Manager to lead the Enterprise Justice engineering team building cloud-native solutions on AWS. You will partner with product management, architecture, and peer engineering teams to deliver reliable software for Courts and Justice customers across the country. Hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site.
The role requires mentoring engineers, driving continuous improvement, and implementing Agile and DevOps practices.
Qualifications
- 4+ years leading software engineering teams delivering large-scale web apps.
- Hands-on background with .NET, JavaScript, SQL Server, and AWS services.
- Strong DevOps, CI/CD, Agile practices, and SDLC understanding.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers responsible for Enterprise Justice products on a modern AWS-native platform and legacy .NET stack.
- Partner with product management, architecture, platform operations, and support to align development priorities with business goals.
- Coach, mentor, and develop engineers through regular one-on-ones, performance evaluations, and career growth planning.
