This role is based in Plano with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days on-site weekly, and the candidate should be prepared to develop talent and deliver software at scale. You will partner with product management, architecture, and peer engineering teams to deliver high-quality software across Courts and Justice customers

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
• Minimum 4 years leading software engineering teams.
• Strong DevOps and CI/CD experience.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) and SDLC.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team building AWS-native features on a cloud platform alongside a legacy .NET stack.
• Partner with product management, architecture, operations, and support to align priorities with business goals.
• Coach, mentor, and develop engineers through regular one-on-ones and career growth planning.
• Drive adoption of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices to improve delivery velocity, quality, and reliability.
• Balance roadmap execution with production priorities and protect team capacity.
• Define and track KPIs to measure team health and delivery effectiveness.
• Contribute to the year-over-year evolution of Enterprise Justice products and cloud modernization.
