Job summary

Sony Corporation of America seeks a Manager, Software Engineering to lead the Engagement Platform Services team. You will drive integration and deployment of the platform across Sony units, scaling capabilities and engineering excellence in a distributed environment.

Qualifications

• ≥6 years in software development
• ≥2 years people management (multiple teams)
• Able to mentor and empower teams including other managers
• Proven leadership for internal apps and high-availability services
• Strong communication and cross-group collaboration
• Experience with agile practices and continuous improvement
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, or similar technologies; delivering microservices
• Knowledge of React / React Native is a plus
