Job summary

Sony Engagement Platform Services (SEPS) is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering to lead a high-performing team responsible for integrating and deploying Sony’s Engagement Platform across multiple business units. You will guide full-stack efforts and ensure scalable, secure delivery across Sony’s ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Overall experience of at least 6 years in the software development industry.
• At least 2 years of people management experience, with experience managing multiple teams or one larger team.
• Proven leadership skills and a passion for building, maintaining, and deploying both internal business applications and highly available services.
• Strong communication, cross-group collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to balance priorities across multiple projects.
• Ability to advise and influence technical discussions and decisions.
• Experience with agile development practices emphasizing continuous improvement.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Experience with Java, Kotlin, or similar technologies, and delivering microservices
• Prior experience with React, React Native is a plus
