Job summary

MDS Staffing is seeking an accomplished Engineering Manager with 10+ years in electronics manufacturing and 5+ years in project management to relocate to Albuquerque and lead strategic growth for the region.

The candidate will oversee product, process, and test engineering, drive NPI, and manage cross-functional teams to deliver cost-effective, high-quality aerospace/industrial hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 10+ years in EMS/production environments.
• 5+ years in formal Project Management.
• 3+ years in people leadership/management.

Responsibilities

• Shape strategic roadmaps and resource allocations for the Albuquerque region.
• Oversee Product, Process, and Test Engineering organizations and budgets.
• Direct end-to-end NPI, large-scale product transfers, BOM/ECN integrity, and DFx reviews.
• Drive continuous quality improvement and ensure compliance with RoHS and environmental regs.
• Act as technical and executive liaison for key aerospace, military, and industrial accounts.
