Job summary

Leidos seeks an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the Defense Enclave Services (DES) team on a critical DISA/DoD modernization program. You will manage engineers, coordinate with government stakeholders, and drive automation, security posture, and IPv6/Zero-Trust initiatives.

Responsibilities include planning, status reporting, and removing obstacles to deliver on time and within budget while fostering team growth and agile practices. U.S. citizenship required with active DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 12+ years of relevant experience or Master's with 6-10 years.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (US Citizenship required).
• Experience leading teams of engineers on DoD or government programs.
• Proven ability to manage staffing, schedule and cost.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and problem solving.

• Plan, coordinate and manage engineering teams to meet milestones.
• Provide status updates to government stakeholders and leadership.
• Document requirements and assign tasks across team members.
• Foster collaboration, remove blockers and drive continuous improvement.
