Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Principal Information Assurance (IA) Analyst to support the Defense Enclave Services team on a DoD-scale modernization program. You will perform RMF activities, assess threats, and lead cyber security submissions for engineering projects through design, testing, and deployment.

You will coordinate with government ISSM and ensure DoD information systems meet compliance requirements, while mentoring teammates and advancing IA best practices across the SSP environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience; DoD RMF experience preferred.
• Current DoD 8570 IAT II Certification required (Security+).
• Experience conducting vulnerability and assessment scans with multiple tools.
• Familiarity with eMASS and/or Xacta for RMF artifacts.
• Strong understanding of RMF and SDLC in DoD environments.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, develop and implement information assurance guidelines and procedures.
• Perform vulnerability/risk analyses across the system development life cycle.
• Conduct IT security site surveys and support AO actions with RMF artifacts.
• Prepare accreditation packages and contribute to Audit and Accountability plans.
• Develop and enforce access control policies per NIST SP 800-53.
• Lead government submissions for DoD IT security posture enhancements.
• Mentor team members and stay current with IA requirements.
