Job summary

Chainlink Labs seeks an Engineering Manager for Data Feeds to lead a critical infrastructure team, delivering reliable, scalable services powering decentralized finance. You will balance delivery velocity with architectural quality and long-term maintainability.

You will mentor senior engineers, drive roadmaps with product leadership, and uphold high standards of reliability across production services in a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• Deep experience building and operating production blockchain infrastructure at scale.
• Demonstrated technical leadership and engineering judgment with credibility to influence architectural decisions.
• Strong engineering judgment balancing delivery, quality, reliability, and long-term health.
• Proven experience leading engineering execution through planning, prioritization, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience building and operating highly available, customer-facing production infrastructure.
• Familiarity with blockchain or oracle infrastructure, backend platform architecture, and operational best practices.
• Experience leading, coaching, and developing experienced software engineers and technical leaders.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across engineering and product organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead an engineering team delivering reliable, scalable infrastructure for the Data Feeds product.
• Establish clear engineering ownership and high standards of quality and operational excellence.
• Partner with Product and tech leadership to translate priorities into roadmaps.
• Provide engineering judgment to support architecture and operational decisions balancing delivery and reliability.
• Coach and develop senior engineers and leads to expand leadership capacity.
• Improve engineering planning, prioritization, and execution while reducing coordination overhead.
• Champion operational excellence by maintaining health of customer-facing production services.
• Foster collaboration across teams to tackle complex distributed systems challenges.
