Job summary

Snowflake is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to guide a 10-person team focused on Developer Experience for data engineering workloads. You’ll own strategic roadmaps, collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams, and drive the hands-on delivery of core surfaces like Workspaces, Cortex Code, CLI, and observability UIs.

You will mentor engineers, build strong cross-functional relationships, and advocate for products using AI to accelerate impact and adoption across Snowflake’s platform.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of management experience.
• Experience leading technical teams, with IDEs, distributed build systems, and cloud-based dev environments.
• Strong Product Instincts—confidently meet with customers, understand problems, and craft roadmaps.
• Excellent cross-functional relationship-building across the Snowflake stack.
• Hands-on experience building projects, testing product, and advocating for your products with AI.
• Passion for mentoring and being mentored.
• Bonus: dbt, Airflow, Spark or similar data engineering tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers owning the Developer Experience for authoring data engineering workloads.
• Define roadmaps, project plans, and product solutions in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Ship features across Workspaces, Cortex Code Desktop, Cortex Code CLI, and Pipeline Observability UIs.
• Foster mentoring and growth within the team and promote hands-on development.
