Job summary

Snowflake is seeking an experienced leader to head the Apps & Experiences Platform team. You will own the technical strategy, drive end-to-end execution, and set engineering standards while mentoring engineers to grow a diverse, high-performing team.

You will collaborate with Product Management to translate user needs into technical roadmaps, improve processes, and ensure system reliability, scalability, and velocity in a fast-moving AI data cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 9+ years of experience designing and building large-scale user-facing systems in production.
• 3+ years of experience in managing and leading teams building lean mission-critical, highly concurrent, high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Extensive development experience in cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical strategy and execution for the Apps & Experiences Platform team from idea to deployment.
• Provide architectural oversight and ensure reliability and scalability of systems.
• Mentor engineers and grow a diverse, high-performing team.
• Define team plans, maintainable roadmaps, and delivery commitments.
• Collaborate with Product Management to translate user needs into technical roadmaps.
• Improve engineering processes, tooling, and standards for efficiency and velocity.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align platform direction.
