Job summary
Thrivent is hiring a senior IT leader to drive technology strategy across multiple product teams. You will shape architecture, set engineering standards, and guide DevOps practices to ensure reliable delivery and scalable platforms.
You will collaborate with Product Managers and senior partners, recruit and mentor engineers, and translate business goals into actionable roadmaps while maintaining Thrivent’s commitment to client-focused solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.
- 8+ years in IT with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Proven track record in portfolio strategy and roadmaps.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on large projects.
- MBA preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review designs and provide guidance on solutions.
- Lead architecture discussions and system design.
- Oversee software development and code quality reviews.
- Champion DevOps, observability, and incident management.
- Collaborate with Product Managers on initiatives and roadmaps.
- Lead recruiting and talent development to build high-performing teams.
