Job summary

Thrivent Financial is seeking an experienced technology leader to drive end-to-end IT initiatives across multiple product teams. You will partner with Product Managers to translate business strategy into technical roadmaps, establish engineering standards, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex solutions.

The role requires 建8+ years in IT with strong leadership, project management, and stakeholder communication skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent work experience.
8+ years of progressively responsible positions in Information Technology.
3+ years of leadership experience in IT discipline.
3+ years’ management/supervisory experience in IT functional area.
Demonstrated leadership and experience managing multidiscipline teams.
Strong competency in project management and execution.

Responsibilities

Designing Solutions: Review architecture and provide guidance for delivery.
Developing Software: Review code, promote best practices, and ensure quality.
Collaborating across teams: Align priorities with product strategy and stakeholders.
DevOps: Support lifecycle processes, incident resolution, and observability.
Coaching Engineers: Provide feedback, career planning, and development plans.
Recruiting/building talent: Plan ahead for future needs and recruit accordingly.
