• Lead geographically distributed engineering and quality teams; deliver planning, execution discipline, metrics, and release outcomes.
• Coach senior engineers, support hiring, onboarding, performance development, and succession planning.
• Establish a high-ownership culture focused on technical depth, accountability, quality, and customer impact.
• Drive architecture and execution for S3DS, NSDS, and Lustre services; translate roadmaps into plans and measurable deliverables.
• Guide design decisions across distributed storage, metadata, protocols, API layers, availability, and scalability.
• Balance new features with maintainability, performance, reliability, and lifecycle management.
• Build production-ready engineering practices for managed storage services; drive release readiness, observability, runbooks, and change controls.
