Job summary

DDN is seeking a Sales Engineer in Santa Clara to architect high-performance storage solutions for demanding data workloads including AI and financial analytics. You will translate customer requirements into scalable architectures, demonstrate capabilities through POCs and benchmarks, and act as a trusted advisor across the sales cycle.

You will design for reliability, security, and scale, create technical proposals, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to shape solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• Exposure to storage/systems through coursework, internships, or projects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Architect storage solutions for AI/ML training, HPC, analytics.
• Translate requirements into scalable storage designs.
• Conduct live demos, POCs, and benchmarks.
• Create proposals for complex RFPs.
• Partner with customers to understand data challenges.
